Excellent when attached to a long rope, to warn rowing boats not to go down the weir stream on a river. We run rowing race time-trials down 4miles of river and ship canal for several hundred racing rowing boats and many of the competitors are not familiar with our river, so we place temporary lines of red buoys across the entrances to side channels and weir streams. The Polyform A0 and A1 red buoys are ideal for that, long lasting and good at retaining their bright red colour (though they do spend about 350 days a year stored in the shed)!
